Volunteer with GMP and make a difference in your community

Could you volunteer with Greater Manchester Police? As a Special Constable, you’ll work alongside regular officers to help keep communities safe, tackle anti-social behaviour, and support people when they need it most.

Volunteer Trevor said:

“You’re constantly learning, and no two situations are the same, here’s real pride in knowing you’ve helped someone feel safer.”

No experience is needed, just commitment and a willingness to learn. Training takes place over several weekends, and once qualified, you’ll volunteer around 16 hours a month.
