Egg-citing activities in Stockport this Easter
Families in Stockport are in for an egg-citing Easter break with a packed programme of creative and inclusive activities hopping up across the borough.
Kicking things off, youngsters can follow the Easter Trail at Bramall Hall, where an Easter adventure invites visitors to explore the historic grounds while taking part in themed activities.
Creativity takes centre stage at the Hatworks with Creation Station Sessions promising creative fun for all ages with spring-themed crafts designed to spark imagination. The workshops are being run on 9, 10 and 11 April from 10am to 3pm.
For families looking for a more relaxed and inclusive environment, a dedicated SEN-friendly Easter play day on 9 April offers a safe and welcoming space for children up to 13 years old (and older children with additional needs). Activities include crafts, egg hunts, games, garden play and access to a sensory room.
Lyme Park is hosting a large-scale Easter adventure where families can take on a brand-new outdoor trail packed with games and activities. The trail, which is priced at £3.50, includes a chocolate egg reward (with vegan options available), and visitors can explore everything from quick challenges to full-day adventures across the grounds.
Reddish Vale Farm is also getting in on the action with its popular Easter at the Farm event, running from late March into early April. Visitors can meet the Easter Bunny, follow the egg trail around the farm and meet the farm’s animals.
With everything from egg hunts to arts sessions and inclusive play opportunities, Stockport’s Easter line-up is shaping up to be a lively mix of fun, creativity and community spirit (whatever the weather).
