Morris madness to take over Stockport – We’ll be there with bells on!

More than 1,000 Morris dancers from across the country will descend on Stockport this Spring for a day of dance.

Saturday 26 April will see our streets filled with movement, music and colour! Funded by Totally Stockport BID with support from Stockport Council and Merseyway, this unmissable event promises to be the biggest, boldest and most bell-clanging gathering the North West has ever seen – and quite possibly a record breaking celebration of Morris and folk dance in the UK.

With performances at key locations, lively street entertainment, and family-friendly activities, the town will be buzzing with excitement. The day wraps up with a Ceilidh at St Mary’s Church, featuring live folk music, craft beer and street food.
