NHS Greater Manchester is inviting you to have you say and let’s welcome an NHS fit for the future

NHS Greater Manchester (NHS GM) is inviting you to share your views on what will make our NHS for for  the future.

The NHS in Stockport would like your help to achieve their goals of a healthy population, their performance and financial goals by giving stakeholders and communities the opportunity to say what is important to you.

They would also like to hear what you think the NHS should prioritise in Stockport and across Greater Manchester, whilst increasing awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by the organisation.

Date: Tuesday 19th November
When: 13.00 – 15.45 / 1pm to 3.45pm
Where: Stockport Masonic Guildhall, 169-171 Wellington Road South, Stockport SK1 3UA

PLEASE NOTE: Arrival and refreshments from 1.00pm for a 1.30pm start.

In 2023, the Big Conversation asked people across Greater Manchester what would make the most difference to their health and wellbeing. The public’s feedback helped to shape the NHS Improving health and care in Greater Manchester strategy. By getting involved again in 2024, the NHS wants you to hear what is important to you, what you think we should prioritise and suggest ways the NHS can improve services. This will help to design an NHS fit for the future, for everyone who lives and works in Greater Manchester.

At this FREE event you’ll receive an overview of the three challenges:

Healthy Happy Lives
We need to spend more time focusing on supporting people to live happy, healthy lives by preventing illnesses and where possible identifying these early.

Great Services
We need to make services high quality, easy to access with shorter waiting times and fair across Greater Manchester.

Financial Balance
We need to make the most of our money to bring the local NHS finances into balance.

Tell us the things you think we should consider when making decisions about services and how they can be improved so register today to attend our listening event.
