Morrisons Reddish supporting cost of living crisis with Food Drive

Next week Morrisons are running a food drive throughout the UK at their stores to support the cost of living and tackle holiday hunger.

Michelle Stokes, the Community Champion at Reddish Morrisons, is asking for support to help make the food drive a huge success.

On Monday (17th July) between 9am and 2pm at Reddish Morrisons, they are aiming to fill a car park space with food donations. The team at One Stockport are asking for the people of Stockport – residents, businesses and organisations – to dig deep and donate what they can to support the food drive.

The food donations will then be distributed to community and voluntary groups that are part of the Stockport Food Network.

During the whole of next week Morrisons are also doing a sponsor a trolley campaign.
The picture of the trolley above will provide essential items to a family, we are encouraging local business/individuals to sponsor a trolley or trollies.

If you or someone you know would like to sponsor a trolley please contact Clare Taylor either on email:
clare.a.taylor@stockport.gov.uk or by calling her mobile 07740 395596

Thank you!
