Apply for up to £20,000 from the One Stockport Investment Programme
The One Stockport Investment Programme, previously known as the Stockport Local Fund, is inviting community organisations providing vital services to those impacted most by the rising costs to apply for grants of up to £20,000.
The One Stockport Investment Programme provides grants for community projects and ideas. It’s investing in local activities and projects that helps people connect and make our neighbourhoods even better places to live and grow old in.
The current grant scheme – Spend Well Live Well – has grants currently available of:
- £1,001 to £5000 for single organisation applications
- £20,000 for collaboration applications from 2 or more organisations
This fund is open for applications until 30 May 2023.
In order to apply for the fund, your idea must:
- benefit people in Stockport
- improve the wellbeing of people or the environment
- be delivered within 12 months from you receiving the funding
- not be used to promote a political or religious purpose
- not be run by a private company
Examples of projects that the One Stockport Investment Programme are keen to support:
- community cooking on a budget programmes
- building community resilience through mentoring, peer support, guidance and budgeting
- essential items for women and girls or their children
- supporting people to access services such as financial, welfare and housing advice
- pre loved clothing projects on uniforms, baby clothing, interview, work clothing and others
- up-cycling furniture, bikes, scooters and tools to offer cheaper and greener alternatives to buying new
- basic bundles for those in crisis
As well as funding direct support to communities, we’ll also support core costs to your organisation including salaries, equipment, rent, utility costs, travel and volunteer expenses.

Although there are opportunities to apply for grants throughout the year,
the current phase is only open to applications until 30th May 2023.
However, you can contact the team to talk about your idea any time. They are looking for projects that can make a real difference in our communities, such as:
- innovative projects in need of start up funding
- successful projects that are looking to be scaled up
To apply for funding, you must be a not for profit organisation, like charities, community groups and social enterprises. If you’re not sure, contact us for more information.
