Stockport dance school seeks sponsors ahead of representing England in global championship

A Stockport dance school is preparing to represent Team England at the Dance World Cup, taking place in Braga, Portugal this summer.

The talented youngsters from Cheshire Theatre School, Reddish will compete against dance schools from across the globe in the hope of retaining their champion status and to yet again bring the medals back to Stockport.  The dancers aged 5 to 17 have already seen off stiff competition to be named in the Team England squad.

Last year the team won a terrific 6x Gold, 1x Silver and 1x Bronze medals.

However, over the coming months, as well as rehearsing, the dance school needs to raise funds to help send the dancers who have been chosen to compete in the Dance World Cup.

This year, the overall junior world champions are offering attractive sponsorship packages available to local businesses, with a range of options available to help Stockport businesses reach a huge potential customer base and boost brand awareness.

Cheshire Theatre School owner, Vickie Goodwin said:

“It is a huge honour for us to be chosen to represent our country at the Dance World Cup again. The calibre of the dance schools that entered is very high, so to be selected is amazing. I’m proud of all the hard work my dancers have put in which has paid off.

“This will be a fantastic opportunity for all the students, and we can’t wait to travel to Braga this June to compete in the competition, but the hard work starts now with rehearsals and fundraising.”
