New Guide to Days Out in Hazel Grove & Offerton

New Guide to Days Out in Hazel Grove & Offerton

One Stockport has launched the second of its Days Out in Stockport Guides to keep families busy during the summer holidays.

From playing in parks to perfect picnic places, the guide will take you on a tour of Hazel Grove, Offerton and Stepping Hill. Take an interesting walk across Mirrlees and spot the wildlife. Or for the more adventurous walker, follow the 14-mile Fred Perry Way that meanders across the borough from Reddish to Woodford.

Explore the hidden gem that is Poise Brook Nature Reserve, an area of ancient broadleaf woodland just to the north west of Offerton. Discover the variety of plants and animals that thrive along the River Goyt.

It’s story time at Hazel Grove and Offerton libraries – specially created for under 5s, sing along to nursery rhymes and much loved tunes.

You can book a family swim at Life Leisure in Hazel Grove.

Aspiring County players can join in Stockport County Community Trust’s Soccer School for boys and girls 5-14

There’s activities, stalls and refreshments on offer at Hazel Grove allotments.

Whatever the weather, have a great summer exploring in Hazel Grove, Offerton and Stepping Hill
