Stockport Community Champions: Disability Stockport & Seashell Trust
One Stockport wants to celebrate all the great work of Stockport’s Community Champions.
The Community Champions programme recruits people and organisations in Stockport with strong links to the community, to help spread messages around health and wellbeing.
Disability Stockport and the Seashell Trust have been organisational Community Champions since last year. Here, Stephen and Gav, from Seashell Trust and Disability Stockport respectively, explain how they’ve been fulfilling their Champions role, including about their series of events: A Life After Lockdown, which looks to give disabled participants a chance to have their voices heard.
