Covid 19 safety around donations-

  • In general, donations should be wiped down with disinfectant when received and kept in quarantine for three days
  • Flowers – not recommended
  • Soft furnishing / clothes need to be quarantined for three days, and then washed on the highest temp possible for the fabric, using a biological washing powder, before use/distribution
  • Soft furnishings such as cushions etc may not be able to washed and therefore we would advise against accepting these as donations
