Self-care week is being held from 16 – 22 November 2020 and is a good time to take stock and think about how to better look after your health and wellbeing especially in these uncertain times.

Even making small changes to your lifestyle can help to improve and protect your health now and in the future.

The Healthy Stockport website has a wealth of resources to help you and includes information about healthy weight and diet, moving more, stopping smoking and self care if you have a long term health condition. 

Looking after your emotional wellbeing and mental health is just one area you could focus on. If you’re not feeling okay, taking each day one step at a time is perhaps most important of all, allowing you to improve your mood through a variety of activities you enjoy.  Doing some gardening, some knitting, or reading a book could help just as much as calling a friend, a local support service, or even taking a walk.
