More opportunities for Sticky Fingers as bakery opens new shop
Beloved bakery Sticky Fingers is expanding into the Underbanks, bringing even more of its much-loved Polish-style pastries to Stockport town centre.
Run by husband-and-wife duo Adrian and Klaudyna, the bakery has been delighting customers in Stockport Market Hall since 2022, often selling out well before closing time. Going, going – scone!
Their secret? The pair are up at 3am every day, kneading, shaping, and baking so every treat is fresh daily.

Famous for their soft brioche-style yeast cakes filled with creamy vanilla cottage cheese, a taste of home for them, Sticky Fingers celebrates the Polish food culture they grew up with, sharing it with the community one pastry at a time.
Klaudyna said:
“Stockport has really welcomed us since we first opened in the Market Hall, and the support from the community has been incredible. Opening a shop in the Underbanks feels like the natural next step – it gives us more space to bake, more variety to offer, and more opportunities to share the flavours we grew up with.”
With the new shop and bakery, they hope to meet growing demand, introduce even more people to authentic Polish flavours, and keep building their loyal following.
