The Stockport coffee van that blends caffeine with community spirit
Meet Sarah, the owner of Coffee Bean Dream, a family-run mobile coffee van that’s on a mission to serve great coffee with a side of community spirit.
Founded back in 2017, The Coffee Bean Dream has grown into a mobile hub of warmth and connection. The van can often be found at various locations around Stockport including schools, parks and markets. But it’s not just flat whites and flapjacks that keep customers coming back. It’s the friendly faces and ethical ethos that sets this small business apart.
The business prides itself on being community-focused and environmentally responsible, sourcing products locally wherever possible, supporting other small traders and always stir-iving to make sustainable choices. The van works alongside a team of volunteers who frequently take part in community activities like litter picks.
We spoke to Sarah at Reddish Vale Country Park, she said:
“I worked down here for two years in lockdown and the volunteers here are just brilliant. They really bring a lot to the park.
Every Monday morning we try and do a litter pick. We’re so lucky to have such amazing greenspaces here in Stockport, they’re so good for your mental health and we need to protect them.”
With sustainability and community connection at its heart, The Coffee Bean Dream proves that a good brew really can bring people together.
Sarah featured in our recent video about the importance of volunteering and looking after our green spaces. Check it out below:
