This Christmas is likely to be a little different for many of us and, after what has been a very difficult year, it can be a time when people feel isolated and alone and in need of some help, advice or just someone to talk to.
If you or someone you know needs any help or support over the holiday period here are some useful contacts and phone numbers.
Loneliness can affect us at any age stage of our lives but the Covid pandemic has brought added challenges for all of us, and especially for people who don’t have social support available or accessible. The Loneliness Support Toolkit brings together tips for helping anyone feeling isolated, with details of the local and national information and support that is available. It is intended for everyone – professionals, volunteers, families and friends.
