A New Year’s Concert with The Robins Singers & Svitoch Chamber Choir

The Robins Singers and the Svitoch Ukrainian Chamber Choir are holding a New Year’s Concert on Saturday 3rd February, 7.30pm at St Peter’s RC Church Parish Centre, Hazel Grove, Stockport SK7 4EA.

Our Robins choir will be performing a varied repertoire with our excellent Musical Director, Dennis Kay, and brilliant pianist, Christopher Ellis.  

This will be our 3rd joint concert with the Svitoch Choir, which is based in Manchester and Bolton and sings ‘a cappella’ under the direction of the brilliant Inna Ruzheva, who trained in a Ukrainian Conservatoire.

At our first concert, there were Ukrainian refugees, adults and children, who have settled in the Bramhall area. When they all sang the Ukrainian national anthem, there was not a dry eye in the house. We hope to welcome them again.

Raffle funds will go to the “Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal” organised by CAFOD.
