Funding Opportunities

Town of Culture funding available
for new activities and projects

Stockport has been named
Greater Manchester Town of Culture for 2023.

Our programme has four themes:

Town of Culture Makes icon

MAKES

Town of Culture Sounds icon

SOUNDS

Town of Culture Moves icon

MOVES

Town of Culture Tastes icon

TASTES

We want community groups, creative and cultural enterprises, and other organisations to be able to deliver activities and initiatives which give our residents new opportunities to be active and creative, and enjoy new cultural experiences in the Borough linked to these four themes.

We have developed 3 funding streams targeted at different types of organisations and projects to make sure as many people in Stockport as possible are able to benefit from our time as Town of Culture.
