Stockport Town of Culture Heritage Walking Tour
Join us over the Stockport Town of Culture weekend to learn about the history of the old town!
Join Jill from Stockport Heritage Trust on a walking tour of the historic Underbanks in Stockport old town.
Find out more about the history of the Underbanks, its buildings, and former residents.
The tour will end with a visit to the old Court Leet and dungeons.
Please note that the tour will be approximately 1 hour. We recommend you wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather!
The tour will begin opposite the White Lion on Little Underbank and will end at Stockport Dungeon, at the top of Mealhouse Brow.
Tours are limited to 15 people.
