Meditative 3D with WOMP

This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone curious about 3D design or looking for a relaxing, creative outlet. Make a start with the free and intuitive WOMP platform, which lets you sculpt stunning visuals in a calming, zen zone.

Here’s what you’ll experience:

• We’ll guide you through WOMP’s famous physics engine and “goopiness” with a chill playlist to spark your creativity.
• Explore shapes and interactions at your own pace. This is a fun and stress-free environment in which to learn 3D design basics.
• The workshop starts with a demonstration, followed by a hands-on exploration.
• Keep your creations as a memento of your design journey

Who’s this for?

• Ages 18 and above. It’s a fun workshop for people wanting to make a laid-back collaborative art piece using simple and accessible software.

What do you need to bring:

• You’ll require access to a laptop that can connect to the internet and can access WOMP (no download or install required)
• If you need to borrow a laptop, please let us know in the sign-up form so we can arrange one for you

Cost

This event is free to attend. We charge a £3 booking fee, which is refunded on attending the event. Or, if you prefer, you can leave it as a donation to MadLab CIC to support future community-led events. Refunds will be processed within seven working days. If you cannot afford a ticket, please email makestuff@madlab.org.uk with your name and postcode, and we will be in touch.
