1000 Tudor People – Historic Talk by Melita Thomas
Author, historian and scholar, Melita Thomas, gives a vivid insight into some of the fascinating characters who populate her new book, 1000 People. Monarchs, military and religious leaders, Lord Chancellors, Knights of the Garter, philosophers, merchants, gardeners, musicians, rebels, witches, and many, many more feature in her critically acclaimed compendium of Tudor personalities.
Access requirements
Please note that there is no wheelchair or push chair access to the first and second floor of Bramall Hall due to the historic nature of the building. These floors are accessed by staircase only. The Shop and Visitor centre and the onsite cafe, The Stabels Kitchen are all fully accessible. There are 3 accessible parking bay in the Large car park which is approximately 100m from the Hall. There are a further 2 accessible car parking bays in the Small car park which is approximately 200m from the Hall.
