Save the World with Micro:bit

This workshop will reveal the power of the micro:bit in developing creative solutions. Harness your creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills to make a difference using the exciting world of micro:bit.

Each session takes 2 hours. Sign up for one of two sessions on Friday, 12 April:

• 10:00-12:00 or
• 13:00-15:00

What you’ll do

Join other future heroes to:

• Work as a team to tackle a problem
• Explore potential solutions to a problem
• Write some Python code for the micro:bit
• Have fun!

Who’s this for?

Suitable for ages 7+

What do you need to bring?

All equipment is provided. All you need to bring is a sparkling can-do attitude! Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket.

Cost

This event is free to attend. We charge a £2 booking fee, which is refunded on attending the event. Or, if you prefer, you can leave it as a donation to MadLab CIC to support future community-led events. Refunds will be processed within seven working days.
