Christmas Crime Night
Christmas Crime Night – the annual night of all things crime fiction and festive fun – returns to Central Library for its seventh year!
Join us at a masquerade as the evening is themed around “Christmas at Manordale” the new crime novel by local author Margaret Holbrook. In the book, the guests turn up in fancy dress but choose a mask at random from those left in the porch at Manordale, before entering the hall proper. So we are having our own Library masquerade with masks on offer. You can bring your own mask or wear fancy dress if you choose! (It’s not at all required.)
The evening will be filled with readings (including Margaret Holbrook herself), quizzes, minced pies, spiced apple cider, and more. It’s lots of fun and there are always prizes to be won!
