WRITING STOCKPORT with THE WRITING SQUAD

We are looking for a group of 16-18 year-olds who are passionate about creative writing to take part in an exciting project as part of Stockport Town of Culture.

The group will meet fortnightly in an early evening workshop led by professional writers from the Writing Squad. We will help develop whatever it is the writers are writing now and, if they want to, give them the opportunity to take part in projects exploring food and transport within the borough. The workshops will run from December through to March.

To apply to take part in Writing Stockport we are asking applicants to write a short letter telling us about what they write and like reading, watching or listening to, and email that with up to five pages of writing, in whatever genre to steve@writingsquad.com. If they would prefer to send a url to work online instead, that’s fine too.
