Ever wondered how video games come to life? Enter the World of Game Development with this coding workshop, network with other video games enthusiasts and create your very own Space Invaders game in just one day!
Our experienced digital mentors will walk you through Stencyl – a simple and versatile drag+drop coding platform – to recreate your version of the classic arcade game Space Invaders. Get hands-on with elements that make up a platform game, including backgrounds, characters, controls, interactions and audio.
This workshop is aimed at young people, aged 14+ who are interested in pursuing a digital career
Tickets cost £5 each. You can choose to be refunded at the workshop or donate your ticket in support of our mission to help unemployed young people in Stockport into employment. If you require a bursary, please email us (below)
