A limited number of free spaces are available for community members\, but this is an additional offering arranged after so many of you were asking to return more regularly. \nThis workshop will run alongside our introduction workshop. As soon as our new Thread Journalers are settled\, I will be working my way around the room demonstrating more advanced techniques as requested. This is the perfect opportunity to advance your embroidery skills further\, as well as spending time with fellow\, local creatives. \nYour ticket price includes a hot drink from Arc Centre’s cafe\, helping to support the important work that they do. DESCRIPTION:Free social and creative activity for people to explore Junk Journaling and help contribute to our community art project.  \nCreative activity delivered in the Arc Centre\, Stockport. Come and be a part of our community led legacy artwork. \nAbout the event \n\n\nLearn how to do Junk Journaling with all materials provided. Our Junk Journaling involves using upcycled materials to create a joyful mini collage of uplifting images and quotes. The artwork created in this class will be used as inspiration for our community artwork. \nClasses are centred on finding enjoyment from creating artwork\, whilst developing skills\, building confidence and connecting with the community. Learn more about using a journal for wellbeing in this fun and inspiring activity. \nParticipants will have the chance to be part of our “Vision of Stockport” community led artwork\, a project celebrating the history\, regeneration and natural beauty of Stockport. \nACCESS GUIDE: \n\nHow to get there – We are based in the iconic Hat Works building in the centre of Stockport on the A6 between the Merseyway Shopping Centre and McDonalds (A6). Stockport train station is approximately a 5 minute walk away. As a monthly member you contribute to the continuation of local community sessions.
