Each month we will have a different focus and accomplish a new skill to add to your own thread journal. \nDon’t be put off by the commitment of creating a stitch a day\, because this journal could be a weekly\, monthly or occasional stitch. The beauty is\, it’s yours and therefore\, so are the rules!⠀ \nThis meet up will be suitable for brand spanking new or experienced stitchers. Embroidery is a great way to relax & unwind\, so it is more important for you to take your time and enjoy. \nYou will also receive online instructions with hyperlinks to my series of fully narrated video tutorials (just in case you need a little reminder when you get home). \nPlatform 5 is situated right next to Cheadle Hulme train station (which is only an 18 minute train journey from Manchester Piccadilly). Each month we will have a different focus and accomplish a new skill to add to your own thread journal. \nDon’t be put off by the commitment of creating a stitch a day\, because this journal could be a weekly\, monthly or occasional stitch. The beauty is\, it’s yours and therefore\, so are the rules!⠀ \nThis meet up will be suitable for brand spanking new or experienced stitchers. Just think of it as a creative\, self care hour to yourself that help you to create miniature stitched memories to treasure for years to come.⠀ \nThread Journal starter kits will be available to purchase on the evening for £25\,  containing everything you need to create your very own  hoop: \n– 100% cotton fabric \n– 8″ embroidery hoop \n– Embroidery floss \n– Two embroidery needles \n– Embroidery scissors \n– Hand stamped 100% cotton tote bag to keep your project and supplies together \nWe will be offering hands on & one-to-one demonstrations every step of the way\, to ensure you feel happy & confident to continue hand embroidering beyond the workshop. \nWe will be aiming to complete each months focused stitch during the session\, however\, there is no rush! This workshop is an adults only class. \nThis is an outdoor event and participants will be required to travel between the above mentioned central Stockport locations\, therefore please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. \nACCESS GUIDE: \n\nHow to get there – We will be meeting at Sufragette Square. Stockport train station is approximately a 9 minute walk away. The nearest bus station is approximately a 5 minute walk away on Exchange Street.\nParking – The NCP multi-storey car park can be found at Redrock Stockport SK1 1SA\, and is fully accessible. There are multiple lifts available.\nGradients & steps – Due to the nature of the tour\, participants will be required to travel between the above mentioned central Stockport locations. We will be using the lift at Stockport interchange to the large number of steps\, however there may be some uneven ground and pavements along the route.\nToilets – Due to this being a tour of Stockport\, we will unfortunately not have toilets available.\nAssistance dogs – Are very welcome to join us!\nSpecific needs – Please let us know of any specific needs when registering and we will do all we can to accommodate.\n\nThis workshop is aimed at adults.
