DESCRIPTION:Make Stuff is a series of fun and unique creative digital activities for all ages from the digital rookie to the tech savvy. \nThu\, 30 May 2024 at  10:00am \nStockport Museum\, 30 Market Place Stockport SK1 1ES \n  \nPart of our half-term events for mini-makers \nDid you know that plants conduct small amounts of electrical activity? We’ll use that power to help you build your very own plant synth. \nAfter\, you’ll get to connect your synth to different conductive materials like moss\, leaves\, or water. Each material has its own unique electrical properties\, which the synth will translate into different sounds. \nThis interactive workshop is a great way to learn about electronics\, nature\, and how to make music with everyday objects. \nEach session takes 1 hour. Sign up for one of four sessions on Thursday 30\, May: \n\n10:00 – 11:00 (ages 7+)\n11:30 – 12:30 (ages 7+)\n13:30 – 14:30 (ages 12+)\n15:00 -16:00 (ages 7+)\n\nWho’s this for? \nThis workshop is suitable for ages 7+. Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket. \nWhat do you need to bring? \nJust you! All tools and equipment are provided. \nCost \nThis event is free to attend. We charge a £2 booking fee\, which is refunded on attending the event. Or\, if you prefer\, you can leave it as a donation to MadLab CIC to support future community-led events. Refunds will be processed within seven working days.
