Manchester Community Choir’s video to raise money Samaritans

The Manchester Community Choir have produced a video to raise money the Samaritans.

Two volunteers from Stockport & District Samaritans are members of the choir and were due to hold a fundraising concert for the local Samaritans last October in Heaton Moor.

Due to restrictions as a result of the Covid pandemic, the Manchester Community Choir have produced a video instead: ‘We need each other now’, written by the band Merry Hell.

Rose Hodgson, Musical Director at The Manchester Community choir said:

“Manchester Community Choir is really pleased to be able to support the vital work of Samaritans with our new virtual choir video. We have stayed connected as a group throughout the pandemic and this song encapsulates the need to support each other through life’s challenges. We know that many people are experiencing the emotional effects of the pandemic and we hope that this song touches others as it does us.”
