Meet an amazing young girl doing amazing things
One Stockport wants to highlight the fantastic work, kindness and generosity being shown across our communities and young Lacey Capper is a shining example!
One Stockport launched a few months ago to try and collectively encourage people across the borough to come together to celebrate Stockport, support our local businesses, connect our local communities, and promote health and wellbeing in order to work together to develop a shared vision for Stockport going forward.
We want to capture the moments and build upon the fantastic work, kindness and generosity being shown across our communities and young Lacey Capper is a shining example!
Meet Lacey – she is just 7 years old but already thinking of others ahead of herself. Every Thursday since we went into lockdown, craft bags and food are delivered from local community group Startpoint’s coffee shop to the family’s house. Lacey says it’s her job to help and she goes and knocks on doors to give out the food / Kingsmill loaves generously donated by Allied Bakeries in Bredbury.
Her friends come on their drive and they make craft things together!
Well done Lacey and behalf of the One Stockport team, thank you!
